The Righteous Vine Missions unreservedly condemns all forms of religious violence, incitement, intimidation, and inflammatory speech directed at any faith community in Ghana. We condemn it regardless of which community initiates it, regardless of the provocation claimed to justify it, and regardless of the platform — physical or digital — through which it is expressed.
We affirm that every human being, irrespective of their religious affiliation, carries inherent dignity as a creature made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), and is therefore entitled to live, worship, and move freely within this republic without fear of hostility, harassment, or harm. This is not merely a constitutional principle — for those of us who follow Jesus Christ, it is a theological conviction rooted in the character and commandment of God Himself.
The Lord Jesus Christ, whom we serve and whose gospel we proclaim, was unambiguous in His instruction to His followers: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God" (Matthew 5:9). He further commanded us to love our neighbours — not selectively, not conditionally, but comprehensively and practically — as ourselves (Mark 12:31). A Christianity that responds to provocation with counter-violence, that retaliates in anger, that dehumanizes those of a different faith, or that uses the name of Christ to justify division, and hatred is a Christianity that has wandered far from the One whose name it bears.
We therefore call upon the Christian community — and particularly those within the sphere of our ministry's influence — to uphold these teachings in both word and conduct during this sensitive and critical season.
